At Adelaide Therapeutic Services we are deeply passionate about providing therapy to children. We believe that early support can make a lasting difference in a child's life.
We believe every child deserves to feel heard, understood, and empowered and we are committed to creating a safe, supportive space where they can grow, heal and thrive.
We specialise in working with children who are neurodiverse (with or without diagnosis), require early intervention support and evidence building, have behavioural difficulties and with children who have experienced early childhood trauma.
Our sessions provide a safe space for children to fully be themselves and we utilise therapeutic play and creative art techniques, centred around the child. This enables us to approach children from a developmental perspective, enabling us to support them with their natural medium of communication, play. Children express themselves more fully when engaging in spontaneous play, they play out their experiences and feelings, it enables us to communicate at their level, to help them grow and heal in a way which is innate to them.
